What does EDT and EDP mean?
These terms all refer to the strength of the fragrance, or more specifically the ratios of water and alcohol that has been added to the fragrance oils.

EDP = Eau de Parfum: Lasts 4 to 8 hours. 8% - 15% perfume oil.
EDT = Eau de Toilette: Lasts 3 to 6 hours. 4% - 10% perfume oil.
EDC = Eau de Cologne: Lasts up to 3 hours. 2% - 5% perfume oil.
A/S = After Shave: Lasts 2 to 3 hours. 3% or less perfume oil.

What are testers?
Testers are a great way to save money! They are the same 100% original, authentic, fresh fragrance in an unopened bottle just like the full priced version, however they are supplied mainly for the counters in department stores for their customers to try out. Testers often come in a plain white box, and occassionally they do not have a cap or a box, sometimes they are marked 'tester not for sale'. If you are not buying perfume as a gift but for your own use, then testers are an excellent choice.
